Owner, Kris Militano has been involved in the construction industry through the past 25 years. He graduated from Florida International University in Miami, Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and Engineering. Upon graduation, Kris worked for the largest commercial contractor in the United States as a Project Engineer on complex projects including the prestigious 2.3 million square foot Sawgrass Mills Mall (the largest in the Southeastern United States). Another notable accomplishment was as Project Engineer during the construction of "The Presidential Circle," a 7 story, 200,000 square foot office complex.
Kris started his high-end custom home building in the prestigious Westin Development in the 1980's in South Florida and has been working with his partner/brother Kyle over the past decade in Militano Construction, Inc.. As a General Contractor Kris has the knowledge and extensive background in construction industry, accomodated with his personality that brings out the best of what is needed as a home inspector.
Kris grew up in Satellite Beach, Florida and currently lives in Melbourne, Florida with his wife Kym and two children. Kris is actively involved in teaching children as a member of the Civil Air Patrol serving as Aerospace Education Officer. His diverse background also includes being a Certified Flight Instructor as well as a Commercial Airline Pilot. Kris was a pilot with companies including United Express, Midway, and Northrop Grumman, flying passengers throughout the United States in various aircraft from Cessna's to Lear Jets .
